September 19, 2020 - Partnering with IDEC Sport, Era Motorsport competed in the legendary race in their first year of racing with drivers Dwight Merriman, Kyle Tilley and Jonathan Kennard. After an untimely accident in practice which took Merriman out of the cockpit, Patrick Pilet stepped in. After starting a lap down at the very back of the grid, the Era car climbed to a hard fought 11th in class, 15th overall in a race that feels like a win just to finish. The crash resulted in an early end to the freshman season for Era as Merriman recovered, getting ready for the 2021 season.
